What is the atmosphere in the team?

The atmosphere in the team and the locker room is best described as motivated. I think the two games that we were able to win gave us a moral boost which took some weight off from our shoulders and allowed us to play a little more freely.

Is the team´s goal to promote to play-off?

As every team, the initial goal is always the playoffs. From there we take it game by game and hopefully series by series.

What do you think about quality of Slovak league?

The Slovak league is on a much higher level than what we were playing last year. Our team was the one which bet all the others and now we are the underdogs I’d say. It´s a very skilled and very fast league and you cannot underestimate any team.

Do you have a favourite opponent in the league?

I personally like to play against the top teams in the league like Nitra and Kosice where the rinks are almost sold out. There is something about the atmosphere in those games that gives you an extra push to be better.

What do you think about fans of MAC?

Our fanbase is not very large, but very passionate. Our games have more family-like atmosphere, not very loud. I think that´s what is missing sometimes in our close games.

Can you describe yourself as a player?

I think I´m a very uncomfortable player to play against. I use my body to intimidate the opponents and throw them off their game, but I can also score and create opportunities. I aim to be a player that can play all types of hockey, a simple style with lots of contact or a more skilled and fast game.

Which was the best game for you in this season?

My best game this season was our first game against Banská Bystrica where I scored two goals.

Can you compare MAC Budapest as a team at the beginning of the season, and now?

Our team has been able to develop to fit the league, I think in the beginning we were still playing with our old mindset that we had the last year. Now we are a more hard-working team. This league demands 100% effort in every game.

Maybe it´s too soon to ask this question, but do you think, that Hungarian team can once in the future win this league?

I think in the future it is possible that a Hungarian team wins the league, there can be surprises this year too, but it is more or less in the long run.
