Why did you decide to come to play to Detva?

It was a really good opportunity for me to expand my career outside of North America, something I’ve always wanted to do.

What do you think about quality of Slovak league?

I think it’s a really good league, the style of play is different than in North America. Wider ice allows for more skating with the puck and space for playing. A guy like me will develop better in the sekind of conditions.

What did you know about Slovak league, before you came?

I knew nothing about it. I came in blind but it’s been a lot of fun so far and a great experience.

Have you met Hayden Hodgson before you came to Detva?

No, I haven´t. We didn’t know each other before I came.

Do you spend your free time with him?

We’re roommates so yes, we spend a lot of time together. We are also visiting places together when we can.

What is your personal goal/aim in this season?

My goal is to make as much noise as possible and make a name for myself on this side of the world. I needed a fresh start and I’m having fun with it.

Can you describe yourself as a hockey player?

I am a big mobile defensman, who can play both ends of the rink.
