His new role will be the assistant of the head coach Dan Ceman. Michal Hudec not only played for Banská Bystrica in the past but was also its captain.

"We have been in touch with Michal since this summer, but because of his family reasons, we failed to establish a cooperation. Our plan is to have two Slovak assistants, who will work with Dan, so we are really happy to sign this contract with Hudy. We believe that Michal is able to improve our organization," said the director of HC ´05 iClinic Banská Bystrica Michal Longauer.

"Rams" have also sent young Oliver Košecký on loan to MHK 32 Liptovský Mikuláš and Matej Giľák to HC 07 Detva.
