In the last game you won against Trenčín. How important was this victory?

Our last win was very important. Every game is important in this league. Every team point you can get each game is huge for our team.

You won four out of last five games, so is the atmosphere in the team better, after few games,when you loss?

It´s obviously more fun when you win rather than you lose. But our team has kept a good attitude.

You beatBanskáBystrica and Trenčín, two finalists from last season, at home. Do you have any special strategy against them?

We try to play hard every game and be difficultto play against. I think in these two games we stuck our game plan and made it very hard on those two teams on those two days. We also got some good goal tending.

You are the most productive player of MAC. How do you feel on ice?

I feel pretty good on the ice. I’m very comfortable playing with Klempa and Dansi. We played together all last season. We have a good connection out there. But it is much harder to score this season than it was in the last one. We must work much harder for every chance.

What do you think about the quality of this league?

This is a very fast league. Everyone is very skilled and can move the puck up and down the ice very quickly. There are some great players and great teams in the league.

What is the biggest different betweenErste league and Tipsport league?

Every line 1-4 in the Slovakian League can hurt you. They also can shut you down and not let you score. The goaltending is great as well. But the biggest thing is you cannot take any nights off in this league. Every team is so good you can get embarrassed if you take any night off.

You played in leagues in France, Poland, Hungary, in ECHL... Which one of these is, in your opinion, the best league you have played in so far?

All the leagues are very different. The ECHL is a very good league but played on smaller ice. In Europe the Slovakian league is by far the best. Everyone in the league can skate, shoot, and pass at such a high level.

Is your finish in the group stage of the Continental cup disappointing?

I was very disappointed in not advancing in the Continental cup. Our team was disappointed as well. We did not show up play the way we should have. We didn’t deserve to move on by the way we played.
